My name is Karla Hicklin. October 2005 is when I began investigating the paranormal in more depth. It was not my decision. My deceased husband played a huge role in that! Through dealing with his death, I have discovered the gift of premonition. Messages and clear signs of doom, happiness or simple taunts and teases from my late husband all have meaning. Another book I wrote, "Awakening By Departure" is a combined effort by many families, coming together, sharing their own story about the loss of their child. Each account is true, and the manner in which they learned to cope, and in some cases did not learn to cope, unfolds.
