Title: My start of the new year

Blog Entry: Well. Sept is now upon us and for me my birthday is creeping up on me. I feel the start of MY new year is on my birthday. I mean I'm another full year older. When I was younger I always looked forward to my birthday. As I approched my mid 20's I didn't really feel that great about it. Now It seems to feel like a marking of my life.
I've planed a nice weekend off from work, hoping to get some of the time to myself for a nice grounding ritual or just to lay in the grass before my favorite time of year takes the reins from summer.
We have had a young orange kitty prowling around the home but i think my Newfy scared him away. I miss having cats around but due to an old friend that took advantage of our hospitality and allowd four cats to turn into over 12 and a few other issues, my wife cant stand having a cat around any more. :(
