Title: Samhain without my son

Blog Entry: Well, it just doesn't feel the same. I do love the holiday of course, but it seems that the whole "Holloween" aspect of it has lost most of it's luster. I remember taking him out trick-or-treating and how much fun we use to have. Now I can only talk to him (he lives with his father out-of-state) and ask him about what he is going to do. What he is going to dress up as (he takes the younger kids from the family out now). It has been years since I have even gotten around to the whole decorate and pumkin carving thing. I guess I am just feeling a little humdrum about it all. Anyway, hope everyone had a happy and safe Samhain! Blessed Be,
