I had an experience with a spirit who likes to open doors in my home. Every so often, especially in the Fall and Winter, we have our den door open and close itself for no apparent reason. Our ranch house is about 30 years old and we live on an old gold mine.

The land has a long history of miners and indians living here. I suspect we have a local spirit who likes to announce itself by doing so.

Late last year, I walked into our den and saw my mother sitting on the couch. I went to say hello and the door to her left immediately and forcefully opened itself. It opened all the way and then closed itself as I walked to it in disbelief. The door then latched itself.

We have more incidents in this single part of the house than anywhere else. The only other room with nearly that much activity is my father's room. I slept there once while watching the house while my parents were on a trip. About six in the morning, I awoke to feel a sudden puff of air on my back. As there is no vent and no window was open, I turned and saw nothing. I layed back down and then I heard the sound of someone blowing air through their mouth and felt the same thing again. I could tell it was someone with a very twisted sense of humor and I told them so! 

I could just about hear them laughing their @ss off as I got out of bed for good and left that room!
